Arrived for furnace check on upstairs unit. Static is passing. Heat exchanger looks ok. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. There is a good temperature rise. Blower wheel is ok. All electrical is in range. I taped over screw heads to help filter change easier. We talked about switching to our membership plan for both systems, you will at the beginning of the year. Assessed system for Lba employee. Furnace has a dirty furnace fan no secondary heat exchanger. The furnaces heat exchanger is also cracked and makes the furnace unsafe to operate due to its ability to leak carbon monoxide into the home.
Went for a maintenance call today for heat. Tested for static pressure system is at max when in heat. All electrical components are passing for manufacture specifications. Did a combustion test is within range. Inspected heat exchanger no cracks/leaks were detected. Checked temp split and is passing. Did replace filter for customer. Did notice blower wheel is collecting dust. Cleaned flame sensor and pressure switch hose. System is up and running before departure. Thank you for choosing LBA services-Johann
Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Found a mouse nest inside the burner cabinet. Called around to track down the special bagged filters. With homeowners approval had a parts runner pick up the filters and bring them out. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the furnace. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Performed an electronic gas leak search. Verified operation of the humidifier. With homeowners approval replaced the humidifier panel and replaced the bagged filter with a new one. Furnace and humidifier are operational at this time.

Dispatched to remove current thermostat and install the previous thermostat.
Dispatched for DIY mini split not operating in heating mode. After a thorough inspection of the system it was determined that it was shutting down due to a pressure switch.
Went for an out on system. Did find an error code of roll out switch. Did a hard rest for system cleared codes. Checked temp split on system is passing. Some wires were not secure did tightened. Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set up for combustion analysis temperature split and static pressure tests. Found that the system is operating without failing static pressure. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components of the furnace. Found that the inducer bearings are making excessive noise. This is a sign of age and an impending failure. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Found that the blower wheel is heavily coated in dust debris. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Found that there is a crack beginning to form but has not reached the point of opening or being unsafe yet. Performed an electronic gas leak search. Spoke with homeowner about systems age and condition. With homeowners approval scheduled a blower cleaning for Tuesday morning. Furnace is operational at this time.
